  In my summation - a good church is a mix of good Biblical preaching and warm hospitality. The preaching at this church is Biblically sound, deep and practical (a very rare thing in today's world). The people of the church are warm and have proven themselves again and again - by extended themselves, to me and my family. I was looked for a good church/congregation to join for a number of years and was delighted to find this rare gem of a church - in Northern NJ!

  The best, most solidly biblical church I've found in north NJ. Pastor Serafini and his family are a marvelous example of simple Christian living, several people in the church are on my top ten list of folks I aspire to be more like. This is not their accomplishment. It is God working among us. Looking for a small church home with a church family that is across the board easy to get along with and grow close to? Come visit this one.

  This church is solidly biblical in its preaching and worship, and strongly practical in its lifestyle. Love and care is evident to anyone who walks in the door. They truly seek to do all to the Glory of God.

  In today's increasingly secular environment, it's very rare to find a church that faithfully holds to exclusive psalmody. In other words, a REAL Reformed church that seeks to worship our Triune Jehovah with reverence and respect, and in strict observance of God's regulative principle -- meaning, that which is not commanded in worship is forbidden. This biblical mandate Heritage executes very well.
  Heritage is a confessional church, with the Protestant Heidelberg Catechism as foundational to their teaching and worship. Therefore, you can rest assured their doctrines are in strict conformity with God's pure Word, the Bible. Moreover, you will find its membership to be both highly intelligent and very hospitable.
  The preaching of the gospel and the wide dissemination of Reformed theology are reprobate America's last and only hope, and this is one of those rare churches where you will be able to discover, and tap into, the knowledge of God's Word as seen through the lens of Reformed theology (i.e. Calvinism. It was the great Charles Spurgeon who said, "Calvinism is the gospel, and nothing else."). If you are looking for a new church, Heritage is the gold standard by which you may accurately judge all other Protestant churches in the N.Y. metro area. For that reason alone, it'll be worth your while visiting some Lord's Day morning. Highly recommended for all seekers of absolute truth, as well as for those who wish to worship God according to His strict commandments.
